And impatient as usual, went straight to leaving the thinnest layer on, the first overnight.
I've been cycling through Vit C, Glycolic and other toner/serum/topical cream treatments for years, so figured I could handle 5% retinol.
And after no reaction, did a second night.
LOL. There seems to be about a 48-72 hour delay before skin starts peeling/sloughing away for a few days. (FWIW: fair skin, thin enough to see veins at temples: easy blood-draw access! So the 1st-try process was a little like a sunburn: crisp/peel/heal the delicate skin revealed.)
But the difference after that first application cycle was obvious.

And seeing the difference after a few weeks of trial-and-error & less dramatic surface turnover as my skin adjusted - I'm impressed.
(TBH, if I have a period of WFH, the fast turnaround of 2-3 days of a LOT of skin renewal after heavier application is very satisfying!)

Now keep to a more conservative schedule of 1 or 2 nights, always with either the RIversol Daily Moisture or Moisture Concentrate creams on top, then giving it a rest for several more days, of serum/moisture/something else to minimal 'disruption'.

DEFINITELY see visible improvement to subtle sun damage around my temples and tiny crevices on forehead, but have to take it relatively slowly.
Because I've spread use of the product over many months, there has been some discolouration around the tube, but the product seems fine and I'm almost done.

The retinol treatment is effective for night time use and perfect for travel. I apply it daily and wake up with smoother and softer skin. It is easy to wash and cleanse my skin and then apply the anti-aging serum with the moisturizer. I've seen a noticeable improvement since I started using this product and would definitely recommend it.
