• Hinokitiol (Beta-T)
  Hinokitiol is Riversol’s signature antioxidant, derived from the Pacific red cedar. Riversol founder and award-winning dermatologist Dr. Jason Rivers was first introduced to its potential during his time teaching at UBC, and made it the foundation of Riversol formulas. Known for its antioxidant properties, hinokitiol helps improve skin clarity, brighten the look of dark spots and support a more even-looking complexion.

• Glycolic Acid
  Glycolic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) known for its exfoliating properties. It helps lift away dead skin cells from the skin’s surface to reveal a brighter, smoother-looking complexion. • Tiger Grass (Centella asiatica)
  Tiger grass is a clinically studied plant extract known for its soothing and barrier-supporting properties. It helps reduce the look of irritation, support skin hydration and minimize transepidermal water loss. Research has also highlighted its antioxidant and skin-replenishing benefits.
  
  

• Glycyrrhetinic Acid
  A compound isolated from licorice root, this antioxidant helps soothe the look of redness. In trials, glycyrrhetinic acid has shown a significant reduction in irritation and inflammation for redness-prone sensitive skin.
  
  

• Niacinamide
  AKA Vitamin B3, a multitasking antioxidant working to prevent moisture loss, and smooth surface texture to brighten skin. Niacinamide has been shown in double-blind, randomized trials to be nearly as effective as prescription ingredients at reducing discoloration and age spots.
