    Hinokitiol is Riversol’s signature antioxidant, derived from the Pacific red cedar. Riversol founder and award-winning dermatologist Dr. Jason Rivers was first introduced to its potential during his time teaching at UBC, and made it the foundation of Riversol formulas. Known for its antioxidant properties, hinokitiol helps improve skin clarity, brighten the look of dark spots and support a more even-looking complexion.

Hinokitiol (Beta-T) is our signature antioxidant found in the Pacific red cedar. To help minimize irritation, do not layer Exfoliating Glycolic Peel with other acid or strong retinol products on the same day. Apply them on separate days instead.

Are there any precautions I should take when using Exfoliating Glycolic Peel?

Glycolic acid can make skin more sensitive to sunlight. We strongly recommend that you use an SPF 30 or higher sunscreen, limit your sun exposure and wear protective clothing.

How often should I use Exfoliating Glycolic Peel?

Use Exfoliating Glycolic Peel twice a week in the evenings. If you're new to acid treatments, start with once a week and work your way up to twice a week.
