Our Daily Glow Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50+ was developed to change that.

This 100% mineral formula uses non-nano zinc oxide to provide broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection by sitting on the surface of the skin and reflecting harmful rays. Unlike many chemical sunscreens, it does not absorb into the skin, making it ideal for reactive, sensitive, or post-procedure skin.

But protection alone isn’t enough.

12% Non-nano Kleair™ Zinc Oxide
Award-winning, high transparency Kleair™ zinc oxide offers broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection without the white cast. With particles larger than 100 nanometers (nm), our zinc oxide stays on the skin's surface, never absorbing into the bloodstream.
Allantoin
A botanical extract derived from the comfrey plant or sugar beets with soothing properties.
Niacinamide
AKA Vitamin B3, a multitasking antioxidant working to prevent moisture loss, and smooth surface texture to brighten skin. Niacinamide has been shown in double-blind, randomized trials to be nearly as effective as prescription ingredients at reducing discoloration and age spots.
Bisabolol
The ideal soothing ingredient (found in chamomile) to pair with sunscreen to help counter the effects of UV exposure.

Which shade suits me?

Three shades: Untinted for lighter complexions, Shade 100 for light to medium, and Shade 200 for medium to deep. Untinted has no tint, so on deeper skin tones Shade 100 or 200 blends in more evenly. Not sure which shade suits you? Our skincare team can help you choose.

Is it made for sensitive skin?

Yes. Developed by Dr. Rivers for sensitive skin, it's a mineral sunscreen with zinc oxide as its only UV filter, in a sheer liquid with a natural glow. Your first full-product order is covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee. Stop use and ask a doctor if rash occurs.

Is this the replacement for the SPF 30?

Yes. Daily Glow replaced our Lightweight Broad Spectrum SPF 30 in June 2025. It's a different formula: a lighter, sheer liquid with a natural glow, licensed as a broad-spectrum SPF 50+ sunscreen with zinc oxide as its only UV filter. The SPF 30 is no longer sold.

How do I apply it?

Shake well, dispense it into your palm, then apply generously after moisturizing, 15 minutes before sun exposure, and let it dry before makeup. Do not use on broken skin. Applied generously every day, a 50 mL bottle lasts about 50 days. That's how long it takes to use up, not how long it keeps once opened.

How often should I reapply?

Reapply every 2 hours or immediately after sweating or swimming. Sunscreen works best with other sun protection measures: shade, clothing and a hat.

Do I still need a moisturizer underneath?

Yes, unless your skin is oily: the directions say to apply it after moisturizing, and on oily skin it can replace your moisturizer, with its dewy, luminous finish. Don't mix it into your moisturizer or serum, because that thins the layer of sunscreen on your skin.

Can I wear it under makeup?

Yes. Apply it as the last skincare step, then let it dry fully before makeup; waiting 15 to 20 minutes helps it settle. Let your skincare absorb first and use thin layers on top, which helps avoid pilling. It's a sheer tint, not a foundation, so don't expect full coverage.

Can I use it where chemical sunscreens are banned?

In many places, yes. Its only UV filter is zinc oxide, and it contains no oxybenzone or octinoxate, the two filters Hawaii bans from sale. It also meets Maui County's rule, which allows only zinc oxide and titanium dioxide filters. Rules differ by destination, and some cover other ingredients too, so check local rules before you travel.
