Our Daily Glow Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50 was developed to change that.

This 100% mineral formula uses non-nano zinc oxide to provide broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection by sitting on the surface of the skin and reflecting harmful rays. Unlike many chemical sunscreens, it does not absorb into the skin, making it ideal for reactive, sensitive, or post-procedure skin.

Key ingredients

Non-nano Kleair™ Zinc Oxide
Award-winning, high transparency Kleair™ zinc oxide offers broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection without the white cast. With particles larger than 100 nanometers (nm), our zinc oxide stays on the top of the lips, never absorbing into the bloodstream.
Allantoin
A botanical extract derived from the comfrey plant or sugar beets with soothing properties.
Niacinamide
AKA Vitamin B3, a multitasking antioxidant working to prevent moisture loss, and smooth surface texture to brighten skin. Niacinamide has been shown in double-blind, randomized trials to be nearly as effective as prescription ingredients at reducing discoloration and age spots.
Bisabolol
The ideal soothing ingredient (found in chamomile) to pair with sunscreen to help counter the effects of UV exposure on delicate lips.

Is this suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes. Riversol products are dermatologist-developed for sensitive skin. Dr. Jason Rivers first created Riversol for patients who struggled to find skincare that delivered results without unnecessary irritation. That same philosophy guides our fragrance-free, paraben-free formulas, made with low-irritant ingredients chosen to support skin comfort.

Can I use this sunscreen under makeup?

Yes, you can absolutely use this SPF under makeup. It layers well over skincare and beneath makeup without pilling.

For best results, wait 15–20 minutes after applying the sunscreen before putting on makeup. This allows it to settle into an even, protective layer.

How do I find my tint?

We offer three shade to suit a range of skin tones:

Untinted – best for lighter complexions or men with facial hair
Shade 100 – best for light/medium complexions
Shade 200 – best for medium/deep complexions

At first I wasn’t sure I liked it because it has a different texture than the original Riversol sunscreen that I was used to, but after using it for a week I loved it far better & will continue using it.

It's light, not sticky, and doesn't need to be rubbed in to get rid of the white as much as the previous sunscreen. It's nice enough to be called moisturizer too, so I can have fewer layers of stuff on my face! The only thing is, be careful dispensing it, because it can come out of the little bottle quickly.

There are so many new SPF on the market and I am very picky! I’ve been using this for a month and I moved it from my dressing room to my bathroom and put it on every single morning when I brush my teeth! It is the best product I have bought in a very, very long time. The consistency, the coverage, the pigment, and that satisfying feeling knowing that I’m covering my face. I wish I’d started using SPF 30 years ago. I wear it on gray days too. The affordability you cannot beat this pricing.!

A Little Goes A Long Way

This has a denser consistency than the daily SPF I'd been using, it spreads easily, no white cast, and I use much less to cover my whole face and neck than I had been of the other. I'm very sensitive to fragrance and I don't notice any fragrance with Riversol. I've yet to test it in direct sunlight, but so far so good. (Also, customer service has been a positive experience.)

I've only started using this for a week but the difference in formula is very noticeable. I prefer this new formula. It goes on smooth and blends in quickly.
