Award-winning dermatologist Dr. Jason Rivers created Riversol after seeing a common pattern in clinic: patients using too many products, getting too little guidance, and not seeing the results they needed. That same philosophy still shapes Riversol today, with dermatologist-developed formulas designed to be effective, low-irritant, and easy to use.

After returning to Canada, Dr. Rivers built his career in Vancouver, caring for patients at his own clinic, teaching at UBC, and helping train the next generation of physicians.

Alongside patient care, he spent decades publishing, leading residency training, and taking on leadership roles in Canadian dermatology, later serving as President of both the Canadian Dermatology Association and the Acne and Rosacea Society of Canada.

Riversol grew out of years of listening to patients who felt frustrated by complicated routines and products that were not working for their skin. Dr. Rivers wanted to create something simpler, gentler, and more effective. After seven years of development, he formulated the first Riversol serum, the Anti-Redness Serum, for patients dealing with rosacea.
